I don’t think I have ever heard someone mention “bar of” and “chicken” in the same sentence until now.

So many people losing their clothes randomly in anime. Must be a real thing if they sell boxers in 7/11

7 elevens in japan are a sanctuary where you can get necessities when natural disaster strikes such as earthquakes, typhoon or tsunamis. Thats why they have clothes too.

I hate it when I lose my clothes in the middle of the day

Oh my god getting your period in public would be so much less stressful if we had those 7/11 clothes in the USA

The Beastie Boys always said that Japan was their favorite place in the world to visit because "Japan gets everything cool 5 years before the rest of the world does."

When i was in Japan I bought my breakfast at Family Mart everyday. The cutlet and pancakes were so delicious. It was addictive.

I miss Lawson's and Family Mart. Eating sushi from there and not dying was amazing. The drinks were so good too. Ahh I miss it.

I worked in Tokyo and Nagoya in the late ‘80’s and early 90’s. Good times and fond memories.

Clothes in 7/11 is actually a huge deal. Airport lost my luggage in Italy last year and it was unbelievably hard to find simple clothes where we were. Having everything as accessible as possible is always a great idea

We used to love these FamilyMarts when visiting Japan, they are the best!

They're almost always open, stock whatever you need, and are usually within a short walking distance from wherever you're staying.

Some hotels even have a smaller version of these inside of the hotel for people who are hungry late at night.
