The Dunes are wonderful, aren’t they?
It’s like Meinl and 1970’s Paiste had a love child, named it Zoltan and beat it to absolute perfection… but, you know, like in a, in a good way.

I bought a bunch of cymbals from these guys almost a year ago, absolutely amazing!

My favorite cymbal is my 20” Dune Crash.

The only issue I have is I can’t seem to find a ride I like and I can’t afford to continue ordering cymbals from overseas. I’m far too lazy for the return process(Going to customs etc). I want something explosive and bright but not to heavy. I tried picking up a Caz ride at first, but the small bell and finish don’t make it explosive enough. I then tried a rock beat but the crash wasn’t too good. I was looking for something in between those two, like an HHX ride.

For now I’ll haveto stick with my current ride, but other than that, Zultan are an amazing company that makes amazing cymbals(which are still cheaper than high end cymbals even with overseas shipping costs). You can really gunsmith your cymbal setup with them.

The first set Sounding like Dragon series from Arborea Chinese brand, almost the same cymbals!!The genre someone plays it's not have necessary relation with the cymbal build cause all can change at the mastering and the poor sound can easily transformed to great metal sound with effect processing

Please please PLEASE. Do a comparison video between the dune grand set and the dark matter professional set!

Also, an updated box set of the dark matter with the larger 22” ride and 15” hi-hat would be the dream. I’d buy right now! 😎😎
