I had that Judge Dredd game from 1982. It was a really fun game for the 80's and 90's. Each player was a police officer in the world of Judge Dredd and you competed to see who could arrest the toughest criminals around the City. It was made by Games Workshop, same company who did Talisman.

Berried Treasures actually does go back to a game from the 60's, High Spirits.

Army of Frogs is one of those games that you can play anywhere, like the beach

Tom should play BREAK THE SAFE. One of the best and most underrated kids/family games ever made. I stand by that. It’s a blast

Duck Duck Go is still in my collection. Very good game. There needs to be a duck renaissance and all games should have a duck expansion.

"N: The Napoleonic Wars" is a fantastic solo game among the bunch of war games in the middle. "N" is published by White Dog Games who publishes some absolutely wonderful historical solo games like "Jeff Davis: The Confederacy at War" as well as "Don't Tread on Me: The American Revolution Solitaire Board Game". None of these are that weighty rules wise and shouldn't be missed if you have any interest in historical solo games.

Have not played the 18XX 1826 that showed on the list so not sure what specific standard 18XX tweaks are contained in it versus the standard 1830, but appears to be more operationally focused versus market focused.

Give me the Brain is a very slight game, but it's entertaining for all that. The conceit of a zombie fast food restaurant where there is only one brain shared among all the workers and the brain is needed for any vaguely complex task is fun. It's not deathless, but IIRC, it was something like $5 when it was published by Cheapass Games.

Dragon Rampant is a pretty good fantasy army miniatures game. It's fast playing and easy to teach and usually results in a fun game.

Assault is the first game in a series of games covering hypothetical tactical battles in WWIII in Europe. Quite good.

I had time agent. Game is a very long game with heavy rules. My kid hated it so we sold it. Combined ranking of 10/20. I think I gave it a 7 and he gave it a 3.

I hate apples to apples with a passion...
