I’m over thinking this because this animatic is amazing. But when the lyrics say, “Don’t look for me. I’m just a story you’ve been told.” it hit me.

Ingo was sent to the past due to space-time rifts and helped make the history of Sinnoh. If he didn’t get sent back to his current timeline, then he'd be 100% dead. So, either he can’t go back because it might ruin the future or he decides to stay. I believe that Ingo got his memories and was given a last chance to see his brother before he goes back to Hisui. So the fact that this will be the last time Emmet will see his brother alive once more is just sad. 🥲

Anyways, Gamefreak, pls let dem reunite in a happy ending 🙏

It is my pleasure to inform you that this magnificent animatic had absolutely destroyed me and I was unable to finish my work due to this masterpiece. I am not certain whether I should be thankful or regret finding this for it made me unable to think properly due to certain emotions such as sadness and sorrow. Despite these factors it also made me discover the beautiful story of dear Ingo and Emmet.
