I'm from and live in the Dominican Republic. I'm so embarrased by this. it certainly does not represent us. Unfortunatelly many people in this country, as well as in Latin America believe that by moving abroad to a first world country and providing thier children with food, clothes and things is gonna make them happy. then they discover they can never spend time with them, raise them right, and then their children are seduced and turn to violence. Money really is not everything. I'd rather stay here and raise my children with little things but much love and character.

When a country accept you as an immigrant and you repay that by becoming a criminal, you should automatically lose all rights to be there.I know Austria practiced this law and it worked very well.

Hmm Domincans and Puerto Ricans way to represent your people well.
We also in NY have problems with Latin Kings and DDP .
Way to fufill the stereotypes.
You leave Dominican Republic for a reason then come ton he hard life in Spain...This is such a shame

Exporting violence.
Good reason for anti-immigration policies.

We in Russia went through this in the 90s, when the USSR collapsed, there was no work, social support, medicine. Many adults did not survive these times. The young were left to their own devices. Europe and the USA were drawn to us as an ideal place, but the older I get, I understand that this is just a beautiful showcase and slums around the corner.

It's awful for both the economy and a person, involved in that. Police should crash gangs really brutally.

One thing that is unfortunate is that it makes other latin american inmigrats look bad when most are very good people.

Why is gang violence on the rise? I still have no clue after watching the news.

Yes that is true but really the #1 reason is obviously that your gang will not let you leave and if you try you will pay the price wich could be your life. If they can prevent you from walking certain areas because you know too much imagine what they could do if you simply try to step out. It's about control

To a new immigrant, where is not a place he grows up, he has no love to the place, certainly there is no respect either.

As a kid you´re more vulnerable to easy money and false prospects. That´s why the criminals target them.

When the country is happy to receive the labor force of the parents but ignore the necessities of the youth, while at the same time giving to the drug lords the profit of drug trafficking.

Theyre doing the same in the US, mostly NYC. Terrible people. Wish they would stay in their own countries. Shame on governments for allowing them in mass numbers anyways
