Why is only Earth habitable?

Показать описание
The Sun on Mercury would appear almost three times as large as it does on Earth, and sunlight would be almost seven times brighter. The atmosphere on Venus is so thick that it leads to the planet warming up non-stop. Unlike Venus, Mars has seasons due to the planet's tilt on its axis. Maybe we should keep looking on other planets.

I think Earth is the special planet.

Reasons:
Earth has life, gravity, radiation, environment and temperatures.

Speaking of temperatures, Earth is actually in the goldilocks zone. Hot and cold temperatures.

Actually, we are not entirely sure if the other planets are "habitable" or not, but this depends on what you require for it to be habitable. For humans, yes, the Earth seems to be the only planet that is habitable in our solar system as it has what we need (life on Earth) to survive. However, while it is unlikely, we are not 100% sure if thre is life on other planets, and part of this is limited by our understanding of what is required to sustain life (ie. our own requirements, and the requirements of living plants and animals on Earth).

My theory is: When the Sun becomes a bit bigger, the habitable zone will slowly reach further into the solar system. Earth is a habitable planet because it's in the habitable zone, so when that zone moves further, it will eventually hit Mars and possibly, Mars will soon become habitable.
