I live in the Augusta county area, and I’d suggest somewhere in the mountains. There are plenty of creeks and springs, often enough rain, plenty of game if you’re into that, good soil, and beautiful scenery.

You always give us positive information, didn't know you posted a book on homesteading, might try and get it for myself, but I've got a full house plus paddocks with horses and cattle in them, they are moving closer to the farm house 🏠 for protection against predators
