Comparing 9700x to 14700k? 🤔

The 65w 9700x uses 25% of the power of the 14700k and doesnt degrade in 1-2 years nor does it have the potential oxidation problem facing Intels 13th and 14th gen cpus.

Cost is still going to end up being $50 cheaper than the 14700k.

You factored in motherboard. AMD has supported AM4 sockets for nearly 8 years over 4 generations. Intel changes socket nearly every 2 or 3 years. LGA 1700 has been their longest socket in recent memory and its end with 14th gen. They're moving to LGA 1851, meaning a new motherboard if you decide to buy a 14th gen now and wanting to upgrade later. Meanwhile AMD has officially planned to support AM5 through 2027. Officially... knowing AMD you could potentially look for upgrades up to 2030 just like they did with AM4 when they promised support up to Zen 2 but went ahead and did Zen 3 on AM4.

Regardless you're kind of doing the public a disservice here by not mentioning how bad 13th and 14th gen Intel cpu are right now.

Idk if you're in the loop or a computer enthusiasts but you should not be recommending these two generations right now. As mentioned... these two generations face potential oxidation problems, as well as overheating degradation.

Intel is facing a potential lawsuit right now over their 13th and 14th gen and theyre refusing to recall their products. Hell theyre making customers jump thru loops to try to RMA their defective CPUs.

I should clarify that the skus affected are their i7s and i9s, doesn't matter if they're, F, K, KS. Also their i5s as well but I'm not sure if their complete lineup is affected. The only ones that haven't been mentioned are their i3 though there isn't anything conclusive if they're completely unaffected.

If you're an Intel fanboy. Buy 12th gen or wait for their Arrowlake.

Otherwise AMD offers a great lineup with same or better performance and cheaper.

Idk if this is a Ai voice overlay, but the English pronunciation needs to be serviced.
