The results are shocking! The skin is completely smooth and free of scaring. This would be wonderful for those with facial issues. While I never had acne, my twin brother did. Severe facial and also on the back. It can be very emotional for someone with scaring.

If you have 2 months without working to recover, this could be an option for severe acne scars. But if you don't, the risk of infections after the act are SEVERE, you'll have a severely disrupted skin barrier function for weeks, which means bacteriad and staph can easily penetrates and destroy your skin.

Also, if you have oily skin, don't. You'll need to use rich thick creams to recover from it, and they'll clog the hell of your pores.

8 weeks of healing time is nothing compared to living with scarring... the result looks amazing if everything goes well however the risk of it is definitely not worth it if things don't turn out well.

Unfortunately, I got a free peel. About 20 years ago I had a car radiator explode and burned 3/4 of my face, part of my neck and ears got 2nd deg burns and blisters. My whole face was swollen and my eyes were practically closed. Everything peeled, incl my eyelids and lips.
I used pure aloe gel and drank a lot of cold water. It looked good at about 3 wks but he's right it took months for the redness to go away. Even years later if I was in the sun or did any activity certain areas would get red.
The worst part was my kids were only 3-4 yr old and it scared them to see me like that. I def felt like Beast and not Beauty 😢 but my skin does look pretty good for my age now... 🤷🏻

Remember, this is cosmetic only so Insurance will not cover this at all. These types of peels cost anywhere from $1, 500 to $3, 500 base. The cost can go up the larger the area for treatment. Also, this cost does not cover "post" care so make sure to factor that in as well. You could be looking at upwards of $6, 000 which is expensive.

This is the peel that they have to knock you out to apply. That's how intense it is. I wanted one a few yrs back but was warned against it by a few doctors. I have two mechanical heart vavles and this peel can cause alot of heart issues.
