As a retired chemist who saw someone get a large amount of phenol spilled on him ( he died a few weeks later), I would never have this done.

Great result for someone with sun damage like her, but I don't think it would work for me because I already have good skin. My main issue is sagging. It is a very risky procedure too. I bet it is extremely painful.

Just wear sunscreen to begin with and you won’t have to do something this extreme. I’m 48 but I get mistaken for someone in my 20’s all the time..strong sunscreen works.

This is why you need to take care of your skin BEFORE it gets to this point. Phenol peels are awful. Staying out of the sun, not smoking or drinking, using good products and spf and starting Botox in your 30’s will hinder extreme signs of aging. And also I’d rather have a face lift than a phenol peel.

The human body is so amazing. The ability to heal itself revealing new young skin is incredible. Although, its a risky procedure so i would be cautious of ever doing this.

Not sure on this one, yes the results look amazing but her neck also improved greatly in the before and after shot at the end and I’m not sure it was applied right down her neck. Wouldn’t be for me, couldn’t go to work as an Early Years teacher looking like that for 12 weeks!!

If i needed it done and had 12 weeks to stay completely away from people i would consider it. I think doing mild things on a regular basis is better. Thankfully ive never smoked so i dont have lines around my mouth yet and i dont really have wrinkles yet. But i have started to get what i think is mild air bags that really big. And i do olan on seeing a dr about fixing them before they get bad.
