I've had my samsung galaxy s2 for over a year and flashed multiple roms on it without bricking it. If you follow the guild lines set up by people like max, you won't have any problems with it. "Which with lack of much knowledge, " all the roms that max recommends and all the roms I've tried have been very well made and friendly to use.

My galaxy note is still using the rooted 2.3.6 that you were so kind as to point out to me a year or so ago. The reason is I use Luks manager to encrypt a section of my SD card and mount it as a folder. I keep bills, pay stubs, tax info, insurance and finance info, all my receipts for the last few years, spread sheets on my purchases, and all my journals starting in 1991 (with multiple backups of course).
Luks doesn't work on newer roms and I haven't found a substitute. So I'm staying with 2.3.6

I have s4 SGH-I337 I didn't find a rom with the same Baseband does Baseband make difference if the model number is the same?
