“How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded?
And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing
And fools hate knowledge?
“Turn to my reproof,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you.
— Proverbs 1:22-23

I have used this in a debate on the internet and it actually works. In person it works better, I have tried it in person much easier to refute an atheist. This is how you do apologetics to atheists Christians it is that easy. Atheist doesn't have a solid foundation for logic, truth, morality or human value they borrow those values from the Christian worldview.

AND the most important thing is preach the Gospel. Jesus commanded us to do it we obey.

Morality has always been a huge problem for religion. A religious person can be moral, but they have no way to explain, through faith, why any act is right or wrong. See how badly apologists fail on this. Or can any apologist manage it? All true morality is humanistic.

Beautiful. One of Jeff's best and most important lessons. Can't wait for my next argument with an atheist..

Great last point, Jesus said love your neighbor as yourself, they can’t escape we are created in the image of God.

“Clearly, morality has changed over time, as our feelings about certain issues have changed, because morality is, first and foremost, based on emotion. Now as a confession, I’m not entirely comfortable with that fact. But my not liking it doesn’t make it false.”

Morality has always been a problem for religion. Whilst individual theists can be moral, they have no way to explain why any act is right or wrong through faith.

Well, the challenge stands. Can any apologist explain how we can derive an objective morality through faith?

This is NOT an argument for objective morality but for how convenient the notion of "objective morality" is. Not a philosophic argument at all.

Please see new video "can atheists make moral claims?" for contrary view.

Morality has always been a stumbling block for theists. They just have no way of explaining why any act can be right or wrong. They have to borrow from simple humanism. An atheist has no such problem.

I’m going to buy the “Jump to Conclusions” board game for Mr, Durbin for Christmas. I totally understand if you want to feel nice and safe.
