I'm from Middletown, NJ. I always say "pork roll", and never even heard somebody say "taylor ham" in my entire life. However, "sub" and "hoagie" are interchangeable.

Credit to the Governor for being a good sport with Stephen. A lot of interviewees in this Daily Show format tend to fight it and want to still try to look serious and statesman-like, but he was obviously game.

Central Jersey is real and I’m from there. It is distinct from both north and south jersey. Central jersey has all the touristy beaches, btw which in part defines the area for better or worse.
