Does Central NJ Actually Exist?

Is there such a thing as Central NJ? I try to answer that here today.

Central NJ really does exist. It is quite distinctive from North and South Jersey. North has a very urban NYC vibe. South Jersey really is more like "The South." Central Jersey still has some of the NYC vibe, but isn't quite as intense. I was born in North Jersey and lived there for 24 years. I have lived in Central Jersey for almost 30 years now.

I like it. Pretty accurate. Mercer County resident here as well (born and raised). We have a bit of an identity crisis here in Mercer County, but I lean more towards NYC. I have family that lives in North Jersey so seeing the NYC skyline off the turnpike was a large part of my childhood. I admittedly didn't know Philadelphia existed until about the 2nd or 3rd grade when I went to the zoo.

I'm from mercer too. And central Jersey DOES exist, and you can tell because I drove by a nearby town and noticed that there is a Quick Check RIGHT ACROSS from a Wawa. Wild
