Total lunar eclipse in under 20 seconds 🤯

Space photographer Bray Falls captured a lunar eclipse by taking an image every 20 seconds for approximately 3 hours! A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes through the Earth’s shadow cast by the sun. This time lapse was stitched together using around 446 images.

I felt so much peace seeing the sweet morning fog from our atmosphere, its such a comforting site. Makes you realize that we are seeing it from our own planet we often take for granted (as in everyone is on the internet 24/7 and never actually leaves to go anywhere). What beauty, the crimson blue fog and that rich unsaturated blue color of the sky in the morning, combined with the crystal brilliance of the moon, shifting ever so elegantly like a multicolored pearl.

A solar eclipse is dangerous because, in contrast, you’re looking directly at the sun, Time explained. To look at a solar eclipse, you need special solar filters or eclipse glasses. If you look at the sun directly during an eclipse, you risk burning your retina, which can be temporary or permanent. It may take 12 hours for symptoms to start appearing."
