Fantastic! I love the way the stars appear when the moon becomes dim enough to allow a long enough exposure for the stars to show. You debunked the "you should be able to see the stars in photos taken on the moon" claim without even trying!

How did you change the exposure time and ISO smoothly? Did you schedule which settings you had to use in a certain phase of the eclipse or you just did it by eye?

Why it turns red when covered with shadow?

This is excellent! How much real time does 1 second of the video represent? I estimate 1 second = 8 min 5 seconds -- is this about right? I'm aiming to use this video with a class to repeat Aristarchus' lunar eclipse method for measuring the distance to the Moon: any further information would be appreciated :)

Wow he even caught the lunar impact @ 0:15 . Blink and you'll miss it. Only thing that I find as a con is that he time lapsed it too fast.

Can someone explain why the shadow begins at the left moving to the right and then seems to completely change direction coming down from the top at the end?

Imagine people freaking out to see a red moon what makes it confusing is October's full moon is called blood moon it is called blood moon because of colour of red leaves that remind people of colour of blood

Then y is the shadow coming from the side? CRITICAL THINKER?

To the author:
Was this filmed in South Korea or California?

Cuz that's the only 2 logical places this orientation matches... fmi please, I need a shot from Poland to line up with everyone else's footage. Nevemind, its super accurate, i had the wrong eclipse. You're good.

For the heckler:
Its still not the earth's shadow. Still not coming from the ball you say you live on. You'd know, bc ur standing on it, when the shadow appears... from above? Or the side?? Make it make sense...

Boo! It's the moon filmed spectacularly during a lunar eclipse! (I'm mocking the "Thumbs Down).
