I have major respect for Scarlett. She literally spent 10 years being in a male dominated cinematic universe, and put up with the worst of the sexist questions. If it weren’t for her, I only fear how much worse the comments would’ve been for Elizabeth and every other women to join the cast later on.

Scarlet Johansson seems like she doesn't care much about the female superhero versus male superhero debate. She is just happy to be apart of the movie. From what I got, they wanted her to have deep feelings about the female role in the movie and what it is like to playing a character that has a big role that isn't just a write off character. From what I was hearing, she again didn't think about this much as again she is just happy to be apart of it and to act among these individuals.
