I haven't been doing this on 90 threads a day, but I've spent 1 hour a day intentionally connecting with new people + just-met people.

(I even shot my shot about 30 mins ago with a large brand asking us how we can provide value to them, and I've already gotten more engagement from people seeing that 1 comment.)

It's slow growth since I wasn't active on IG and didn't have an audience to migrate, but I'm not letting that stop me from building an audience. Where we start doesn't have to impact where we end up if work ethic enters the chat.

It's been working VERY well so far, so I think by committing to 90 posts a day (just doing more of what I'm already doing) for 30 days and tracking my growth -- Threads followers, Substack subscribers, IG DMs -- will be an interesting experiment.

I'll report back on the results in this video's comments (saved the video link to come back).

Edit: Yikes. Using my engagement tracking template to be honest about how much I'm doing made me realize I've only done 11% of what I'm aiming for (90 comments) so far today and thinking that was good.

Are you also putting in 11% effort and expecting 100% results?

I've tried it on threads and it works really well, it also still works on Instagram.
