As soon as I saw that Oprah look with the glasses on, I knew it’s going to be real and informative.

I don't use a separate acid. There are products (mostly serums and moisturizers) that have some form of it in it (either citric acid or SAP or something else) so I'm good. Done with doing multiple layers of different actives.

Great info, I have stayed away due to instability and fear of worsening the discoloration! I use Q10 right now but I will check out his line. He looks like Jamie Foxx's brother!

This video came at the right time. I was looking into a fattier vit c. I'll have to pay attention to the percentage and delivery agent used. Thanks for the video as always 😊

I personally don't use any types of vitamin c. It's expensive and unstable. We also have a lot of options when it comes to skin brightening agents and antioxidants. I much prefer azelaic acid and green tea extract, as products that contain those ingredients tend to be a lot cheaper. I'm at a point where i feel like any skincare products above $10 is a waste of money. But i watched your video anyway because i love you and the information that you keep providing for all of us.

Danielle, thanks to you and Ron. I'm going to try his sampler trio to see how I like his products. I would love to regularly purchase skincare from a Black scientist who has our needs top of mind. I'm currently using the CF Phloretin by Skinceuticals, which is designed specifically for oily skin as an alternative to their CE Ferulic which is for normal to dry skin. If I had realized you were taking questions for him, I would have asked about the specific difference between his Vitamin C product and CF Phloretin.

As a man of color who shaves, L-ascorbic acid will sting freshly shaved skin. It's much better to use a derivative.

Dr Alexis Stephens has videos discussing vitamin c and product recommendations. So does Dr Kay Explains (UK). Encapsulated vit c, that's interesting. It sounds like encapsulated retinol which is supposed to be more gentle on the skin.
