Honestly, the story quests are the only reason I'm invested. The rest of the patch looks like a disastrous mess but I really liked the way the Chasm and Sumeru took the story, felt like we started getting into some very cool lore and started getting some of the big pieces to understand what exactly is going on, I really hope this next story section is juicy because I need some hype.

The upside-down city in the Chasm also share's Enkanomiya's architecture (& headless figure statues specifically, surrounding an inverted pool of water) that Dain told us is all from a civilization older than Khaenriah during the 2.6 quest, so the question still remains, what was this seemingly far spread, interconnected civilization that outdates any we know? Is it the seelie Kingdom, kingdom of the heavens, etc. the only other ancient kingdom names we've been made aware of that haven't had a location put to their names yet? It's soooo frustrating how Hoyo keeps teasing us with structures from this same civilization but when will they finally reveal enough for us to figure out what civilization those remnants belonged to? That massive civilization origin is probably related to the primordial one though, not only bc it outdates Khaenriah as Dain said, but also bc the Enkanomiyans, who were known to be the primordial one's people he loved but supposedly abandoned, share the exact same architecture & hooded statues as the architecture/ hooded statues as found in the upside-down city, and now even the place in the new trailer.
