How To Tomato Sandwich

I literally just woke up (which is why I look like this) and had my usual craving for a summertime tomato sandwich.

If you've never had a good tomato or a good tomato sandwich you're in for a treat.

Find the good tomatoes when they are in season at your local farmers markets.

I've been eating Tomato Sandwiches since I was a Kid and I'm 68 years old. I'm in Ohio so Always Lookin' forward to summer crops. Marietta, Ohio has Awesome Tomatoes if your ever by there. One of my Favorites. We also toasted our bread. Looks Delicious!

I crave tomato sandwiches in the summer too. My mother grew up in low country South Carolina working in the tomato fields and she schooled us very early on the taste of true tomatoes. She hated the pink, smooshy tomatoes found in the grocery store. The best ones are firm, off the vine, and smell as rich as the tomato vines.

Growing up as a kid back in Philly waiting till we had Jersey beefsteak tomatoes we grew in the garden. Never store-bought tomatoes. Posted white bread and butter. That was a meal for me.

Holy moly you really love tomatoes. All these videos take me back to the first time I had just fresh slices with salt and pepper as a kid and realized they were good enough to be a feature and not just a burger/sandwich ingredient

My mom used to eat that every day for lunch when we spent our Summer vacation in Spain! Great Tomatoes, many different kinds. She would cut garlic over it too, claiming it would keep away the mosquitoes! But it tastes great!

I never really liked tomatos much, until we moved to Fiji. You can buy them by the side of the road by the heap and they are only tiny, But the flavour! They were grown so simply, and the soil is so rich there. They taste amazing.
