EDIT* LOL! 3:17 — mean to say 2014 GS HATCHBACK not 2024 GS Sedan haha.

Hey everyone! Thank you SO much for checking out my FIRST full-length video! It meas a ton to me.

But I need your help — would love to know how I can improve my videos. Any tips, tricks, or hints in terms of editing, pacing, cuts, and even the content itself.

I want to make these videos A) because I love doing it but B) because I want you all to enjoy them. :)

My son's 1st car was a 2014 Mazda 3 Hatchback (manual) and he loves it so much! He has had it for about 7-8 years and now has a wife and 1 year old son, so trading it in for a large Mazda...the Mazda CX5 AWD automatic (the teen in him is over the manual stick...lol). He convinced me to test drive the same car and I'm sold too! So much better then the Grand Caravan I'm driving!! We pick up these Mazda CX5's tomorrow from the dealership...excited 😊...his is Sonic Silver and mine is Soul Red Crystal!!

Cylinder deactivation absolutely works and nets about a 10-15% MPG improvement with my 2023 3 manual. Routinely getting 35-40 MPG with this car, which is a noticeable improvement over my 2015 3 manual (both with the 2.5 liter motor). Really enjoying my gen 4 car, but the gen 3 was also a fabulous bit of kit.

You did a great job. I have a 2020 Hatchback premium with MT. Polymetal gray w/ red interior. I love my vehicle! Before this i had a 2015 GT with MT also, loved that one too. I have had almost zero issues with this (super minor trim piece needed fixing) and it's super fun to drive. My son has a 2007 sedan that he still drives and will for a couple more years. Coming from driving minivans for 24 yrs, I was so happy to get a car i loved. Premium interior, comfortable ride.... i'll drive it as long as i can get in and out of it (I'm 56) which hopefully will be many years to come!

If you turn off the centerpoint and leave the bass eq at 0 it's extremely bassy, almost like an aftermarket subwoofer. However it also reveals some structural quality issues and rattles that you otherwise wouldn't notice.

It should be noted that while I do love the tricoat paint color options, I learned the hard way that it isnt a good thing. Someone ended up clipping the front bumper on my car and I had to get the entire front end repainted. This was awful because the tricoat paint is STUPID expensive, meaning that Im stuck with a slightly mismatched color on the whole front of the car. Not a major deal but it is quite obvious in the sunlight.

I got the 2023 Mazda3 S in the white. There is a ocean of white out there but the Mazda3 sedan is the best looking. After 3k miles everything smoothed out including cylinder deactivation. It was a little clunky at first and now I don't notice it. I am getting 50 MPG on flattish 50 mph roads.

Thanks for the informative vlog! I got a 2024 Mazda 3 sedan in Platinum Quartz Metallic about 2 weeks ago and I just love driving it. Still trying to figure out how everything works and these vids on YouTube are super helpful. I like the white! Looks nice on your hatchback. Thanks for posting!

I bought the 2023 Mazda3 manual transmission H/B premium and like it very much but I would have bought the sedan instead if the manual was available in it. I really wanted the Blue color but it wasn't available in the Premium model with the manual transmission. Second choice was the Machine Gray Metallic but I ended up with the Platinum Quartz Metallic due to availability with a manual. This is the third video of yours that I have watched. I appreciate your work. Liked and subscribed.

I am looking into buying the Mazda 3 Fastback(How its called in the Philippines) and correct there is no Manual here which is sad. Comes in 2.0L naturally aspirated and other is the hybrid. Great video! More power!

Correct! Yes, here in Australia Mazda 3 no longer has the manual transmission for '24 (much to my personal distress 🙂). Informative video, I wish you every success with your channel. Cheers!

Bought a 22 2 hatch in white new, kept it about 6 months before trading it in. Called it "the egg" because it looked like one so bad I had to put some stripes on it. More refined, great handling and stable autocross car, great tech but terrible lack of touchscreen when moving made it hard to live with. I liked it from some angles but I didnt look back and love it like I did my other mazda 3's over the years (14, 15, 18, 2010). The older ones had fun color gages and a little more joy of life youthfulness that mazda decided that upscale means they had to get rid of which was a shame. TBH put the 2004 S model gages in the car and add a bit of color and I probably would have kept it. It's the little things.

Dude I greatly appreciate this video and the other 2 you made. I’m from Abbotsford, B.C (my fellow Canadian) and just got approved financing for the first time for a new car and getting the Mazda 3 GS Luxury Package. Now my last car was a 2011 Chevy Cruze and the greatest features that I’ve had in that car was Power locks, power windows, and Bluetooth haha. So going from that car to this car is Gonna be a change for me and these videos are definitely helping me understand my future car until it arrives (got it in that sweet sweet red) So thank you v much for these videos and if I have any questions about the new M3 I’ll definitely ask you haha. Keep making these sick videos 🖤🇨🇦

Hi Mike, I love all the information you are providing about Mazda cars. I have a question about how can I start my car from distance to start my AC going? I live in Scottsdale Arizona and my car gets very hot when I just go to the store to grab a few groceries. I will appreciate if you tell me how to do it. Thanks

The Bose bass is adjustable in the setting to add more base...my songs are quite bassy and i enjoy the 12th speakers.
