Patient: Doc, I've been feeling quite blah lately.

Doctor: I'll schedule that total knee replacement ASAP!

I'm absolutely fascinated by your videos. As an mri tech, I see these issues on my scans and it's amazing to see them on real humans. I would loooove to be in that lab. #jealous.

I got a Partial Knee Replacement- easier recovery than a Full but harder than an Anterior hip replacement. I’m recovering from my second one now.🎉❤

You're basically describing my left knee which undergone surgery 5 years ago due to my tibia plateau being broken from a bike accident from falling down.😊😊😊

Skeletons for Halloween decorations would be much more scary if they had arthritis.

Some additional info: Osteoarthritis is a diagnosis based on mostly subjective factors / symptoms, not imaging alone (same in most medicsl guidelines all across the globe). Cartilage degeneration is not synonymous with osteoarthritis as a diagnosis. Turns out that the degree of degeneration does NOT correlate much with pain. And pain amd stiffness are two major points assessed for a potential diagnosis of OA. So if anyone ever gets some imaging done and their doc sees degeneration: don't fret, if you have no symptoms. Also, very few people with OA ever need surgery, in case anyone eith OA reading this is worried. The person in the video who donated their body to science might not have had any knee pain at all or very little discomfort. Summary: LOTS of people have major knee cartilage degeneration but many don't know because they are symptom free. This is common.

That person lived in pain, car hit me in a cross walk, my chin hit asphalt, teeth cracked, they were beautiful & healthy, not now 😔

I haven’t died yet, but you’ve got my knees there, except for the fact that I was grinding bones. Thank God for titanium.
