Do you think SpaceX will take the knowledge they learned from building the stand at Massey's and bring it over to the new orbital launch amount, or do you think they will stick with a fixed pad?

The FAA motto is "Blue skies not red tape". The FAA is chasing the leader in space launches and tangling them up in red tepe.

Could you also use metric system units along with american? It's a chore to calculate from feet, elephants and statues of liberty to meters.

FAA: "SpaceX needs to be more like boeing..."

The astronauts stuck on the ISS because of boeing, waiting on SpaceX to take them home because Boeing can't be trusted:

the lack of a launch license has most likely helped to accelerate pad two completion.

Hey Felix, German viewer here - great episode! But I missed the metric-system numbers alongside the miles/feed/etc... would be great to have those back in the future:) keep it up!

Dude, the FAA is nuts! ULA had an SRB fail today, and they don't care at all about it?!

Arthur C Clarke got so much right.

In the book 2010 he wrote “All these worlds are yours - except Europa. Attempt no landings there.”

What could possibly go wrong.

I know there'd be no reason to do it, but just imagine how amazing a simulaunch from pad A and pad B would look!

Please, stop checking your Channel matrix. It's quite annoying hearing this every time. Seemingly those 2.8m heard it and just dont care.

Felex, that was was a very good explanation of the extreme radiation trapped outside Jupiter's magnetic field.

I think the “Clipper” in Europa Clipper refers to Clipper Ships in the 1800’s.
They were small and fast with limited cargo carrying capabilities.
I would think that by keeping its speed up, it’s less likely to get fried by radiation

Thanks Felix, another epic update. Glad the FAA keeps up with Falcon but would love to see them pick up the pace with Starship. Can’t wait for flight 5 and a possible catch!

RAD Hard for the Europa Clipper! This mission needs to go without any issues from SpaceX!!! God's speed!

Pre-designated not pre-designed. Still got the message across.

Yes, FAA is a bit tough on SpaceX, but they need to review ALL their processes.
