SpaceX finally reveals an orbital Starship launch window!

SpaceX is testing Booster 7, Ship 24 stacked, 4 Starlink launches in a row (actually 5 now), and SpaceX is suggesting nuclear propulsion.

Quick correction at 4:51: a (solid core) nuclear thermal rocket doesn't have a higher exhaust velocity because it's hotter than chemical rocket exhaust, but rather because the exhaust has a lower molecular mass.

A Raptor that burns oxygen and methane will produce water vapor and carbon dioxide, both of which are heavy and therefore slow. All an NTR does is boil hydrogen, and that's the lightest molecule around. That's why NTRs can get exhaust velocities twice or even thrice that of any chemical rocket despite reaching the same temperature.
