Field shrinks, race intensifies after Iowa

Compared to some primary states, the Iowa delegate count is small potatoes -- but momentum matters.

On Monday, Hillary Clinton eeked out a win over Sen. Bernie Sanders in the Iowa caucus by a margin of less than three-tenths of one percent.

The Republican race was similarly close as Sen. Ted Cruz edged out Donald Trump and a surging Sen. Marco Rubio.

Dave Levinthal, senior political reporter at the Center for Public Integrity, discussed the race and campaign finance issues with Capital Insider.
