I really appreciate your garbage day videos - I know I've left more or less the same kind of comments before, but I admire how much you inspire others to learn about taking care of what we already have and reusing and repurposing things that others just throw away

Rinoa, Love your videos! Just wanted to mention that the stubby Craftsman screwdriver with the amber handle was made that way back in the late 1940s. That particular screwdriver is very collectible. Thought you should know. It's a gem!

I think that weird tool might be a drum brake sping tool.

So glad you don't throw perfectly usable stuff away. This makes me very happy to see. I must have about 100 mason jars full of screws, nails, brackets, knobs, nuts, bolts, etc that I saved from being tossed out. People may laugh, but anytime someone needs an oddball bolt or bracket, who do they call? Yep! ME! I rescue a lot of computer stuff as well. There is always someone who just needs a little machine to watch Youtube videos on and maybe check their email or look something up on Wikipedia. I try not to throw much of anything in the landfill. I will find stuff a home or donate it.

I've never seen a saw tooth setter. Learned something new.

Evaporust or even experiment with an electrolysis tank for severely rusted and seized tools followed by a wire wheel. A few good old tools here. Those Utica needle nose duck bill pliers are neat. Any Utica and Kraeuter brand pliers or tools are really good quality.

Always loved the smell of WD40. It won't leave a protective layer though, in fact when it comes to moisture it's bad, it breaks the surface tension of water, drip a drop of water on untreated metal and it will bead and you will get a rust spot, dip a drop on metal that has been sprayed with WD40 and dried, the droplet will disperse and spread over the surface like a wick and the whole area will bloom rust. Although it's more labour intensive wax is far better long-term.

Hacksaws and coping saws make me cringe to even look at. The same with that style of wire strippers with the red grips.
