Why the EU and Serbia are Angry With Kosovo

Tensions are once again rising between Serbia and Kosovo, as Albin Kurti has moved to ban the Serbian Dinar in Kosovo which has angered both ethnic Serbs. So in this video, we'll explain what's happened, and why Western leaders are unhappy with Kosovo.

Just one remark, Kosovo was not part of Yugoslavia like Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia... Kosovo was part of Serbia as autonomous province.

I'm a foreigner and maybe I don't understand the emotional implications of such decisions, but is it really so hard to Kosovo to give the serbian areas (which evidently want reunification) to Serbia? And is it so hard to Serbians to let the ethinically albanians rule themselves or join Albania? It's pretty logical if coexistence is impossible, but I may not understand. Unless both want just a good excuse to settle things in the old way
