I just traded my 2019 for the 2025 z71 LT Texas edition and opened the hood today. Its made of the thinnest sheet metals I have ever seen. The only reason I traded my 2019 with 65, 000 miles was that it had been in the shop over 12 time for the transmission. I have to say I am disappointed with my 2025.

I bought the 2024 LTZ with 5.3 liter .I love it!! If you want fancier off road you have to buy the ZR2 locking differentails and skid plates. I think for $70K you should get it in the Z71

That’s actually the short bed but Chevy does have a big short box. I love mine, plenty of space.

I love the red LTZ I get The max tow package instead of the Z71 but nice looking truck

I have a 24 LTZ and it's smooth. No offroad tires on an LTZ dude. It's a city truck.

I was in the market for a new pickup truck recently. Out of the Big 3s and Tundra, the Silverado was my least favorite. I rent vehicles extensively for work, and I find GM’s interior design and materials are subpar pound for pound, although they have gotten better. The Chevy V8s + AFM/DFM plagued with issues and a flawed rear-gear-chain diesel design are just an indication of how lazy / slow the company is in getting things right. All of the above is a big turnoff for me.

Ben how far does the second dealership have to be for the comparison?
because over here the toyota and honda dealership are at opposite sites like around 12 to 15 mins far from each other.

the best 1500 silverado to buy is a 2006 and earlier sans afm and prematurely failing transmissions
