I just traded a 2021 GMC 1500 Denali with the 6.2 that I purchased new in 2021 on a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado RST Z71 with the 5.3. This Silverado has the crew cab, short box (same as the Denali). I just came back from a five hour trip, half on interstates half on state and back roads and I'm really liking this truck. I didn't order it, the dealer had it on the lot with a lot of nice options, but not the typical ones that I had in the Denali and I really don't miss them at all. No sunroof, or sliding rear window (never used them), non-leather seats, didn't really notice. No Bose stereo, the standard radio sounds great and I always had a Bose in my three previous GM pickups. I really like the large 13" screen and the multi option gauge cluster. The trucks rides great, and has plenty of power.

I wanted a new truck, yet I also didn't want to jack the cost up, considering the prices have gone up quite a bit since I bought the Denali in 2021, but yet I still wanted to get a nice truck that I could enjoy on long trips. Overall I'm really satisfied with this new Silverado, even without some of the amenities. This specific truck had been on the dealers lot for over 60 days so there were quite a few discounts, plus I got an extra $500 for first responder, over $6k in total incentives.

I love my 2023 Silverado!!! Texas edition has all the works and I’ve never really cared for 4x4 ….. just never use it. I’ve put on 5500k miles on it across Texas and so far she drives like a champ!!!

I smell a 3.5 straight 6 turbo coming in the silverado in the future. I just feel it. Prolly have 2 versions to, regular and a high output. Mark my words. They gonna replace the 5.3 and 6.2 with it.

I like my 2019 LTZ 6.2L. In Havana Brown and the Crome bumpers and 22"s. I always get compliments on the color combination. I wish the 2024 came out with that color again. I would get one. The dark Brown can look black at times. I love it.

I want an lt 5.3 v8 with the z71 appearance package. 4x4 or 4x2 don’t really matter to me 🤞🏽

There are 2 variations of the 2.7l turbo engine. The standard and the high output. The high output puts out 420 lb. Ft torque, the standard puts out 380. Some of the 2.7l can be tuned to the high output 420 lb. Ft. Torque but it's an additional cost AFTER you purchase the truck.

I'm looking into used Silverados right now trying to figure out which trim to lean towards. Look who shows up in the video, what's up Jeff🍻

I Liked the LT as a minimum.
Then I liked the Look of the LT trailboss but because I drive streets 99% of the time.. and sometimes long highway rides.. do I want big meaty off road tires on all the time? (Yes I know I can swap out wheels/tires for a more street config).
So then the RST seemed to give a large bit of what I liked.

So I think if I was buying a Silverado I'd be aiming for the LT Trailboss or RST.. whichever I could get the best deal on.

When did we all start pretending that paying anything over 40 grand for a mid grade chevy truck was even remotely normal??? I paid 36 grand and some change for my 2018 LT z71 silverado out the door in 2018. Fast forward just 5 years and the 2023 version is 56 grand "if" you can actually find one that isn't marked up ridiculously!! That's a 20 grand difference in a short time! What I don't understand is all the people who willingly pay the prices the manufacturers and dealers are asking. Seriously, we are currently living in the movie "idiocracy!"

6 minutes 8n. Good lord, I only wanted to see about the differences between the trucks. My head hurts, thanks General, now AutoTrader, can you please explain the Chevrolet and the GMC truck trims, in order, because I know that the GMC trucks have a different order. So mixing the two and placing them in order from bottom to top, would be helpful.

I’m in the market for a new 1/2 ton truck! GM is about 50% owned by Chinese car manufacturer SIAC motors! On top of that depending on the configuration it can be built in Canada or Mexico! I think I’m gonna stick with U.S own and built trucks! Even Toyota is more loyal to the U.S. Market where the Tundra is built in Texas!

The trail boss isn't a trim, its a package. Thats like saying the Z71 is a trim.

Still haven't liked the looks of any Silverado 19 - current. When I traded an 07 1500 Classic in 21 went with an 18 LTZ 1500. 18 is a better looking package inside and out and looks far more world class than the newer trucks do. Don't like the front ends, panel gaps in the front wheel well areas or the driving dynamics that don't seem better than a 16 - 18. Still waiting for a much better design before I ever consider trading in my 18. So far 19 - current doesn't impress me. Some bits are nice yet together Is nowhere near the stunning package an 18 is. Brother recently got a 21 RST with a 6.2 and a 10 speed. Drove it and didn't notice much if Amy difference in quickness from a 5.3 with the 6 speed in my 18. Imo 19 - now are some of the ugliest trucks Chevy ever made.

Vehicle makers nowadays suck. Everything is made to be luxurious for a short while until they fall apart. Rather than being made to be durable and last forever.
