Budgies are far too cheap. They are far more intelligent to be sold for $20. So many people think of them as throw away pets. Please do not think of them this way. They not only have intelligence but have their own distinct and unique personality.

I love this channel. I found a budgie in the middle of the street in October and have been taking care of him since. He’s been to the vet a few times and had a whole work up, needed antibiotics. He’s so wonderful and I’ve grown to adore him. This channel has taught me so much. I’m working on taming him slowly and getting him to eat good food— it’s been a challenge. I read the comments on all the videos and feel encouraged

It cost me $40 plus $60 for two cages and $30 for 12 toys. $25 plus $14 plus $9 for three special perches and $28 for mineral blocks and food pellets and seed. $25 for one Budgie and $30 for two more Budgies.

$ Something around $300 to set up housekeeping for three Budgies.

But don’t you ever get sick, little Budgies, because Avian Vets will charge me $400 for just one visit to examine ONE of you and take blood samples. More$ for medicine and more $ for follow up visit.

THIS is why you MUST feed Budgies VEGGIES and fresh greens 🥬 and CHANGE the water EVERY day. If you don’t, Budgies can get sick and you will be bankrupt.

Yeah but keep in mind that if he gets sick you may have to pay $1000 for the vet. Don’t see them as disposable ! I was there last week. Avian vet not any vet

Ive had my 2 buddies for 2 1/2yrs and will only say in my hands to eat only when they're hungry other than that they don't want any bother outta me, how do I change this. Im always talking to them.

I would love to get two budgies but I'm afraid of how fragile they are. I had a friend whose budgie dropped dead without warning one day. That freaks me out. I am also fearful of broken blood feathers. I've had lots of different pets, but never a bird. Maybe I should admire them from afar. :)

When he says Meekahz it means macaws also I have 2 wonderful pet budgies one is a female Albino named Athena and a male harlequin named Ares. Athena is a sweerheart and goes up in my finger and loves that I give her attention meanwhile Ares is terrified of me and doesn't let me get close to him I think it is becasue in his last home he was abused (my 2 budgies are rescues)

I am a diabetic and thinking about getting a pair since im disabled now, but i am concerned if they would pose any health problems for me? Does anyone have an answer to this?
