17-Year-Old Has Her Prom on TikTok

A student in Danville, California turned her tears into cheers after her high school prom was canceled because of the pandemic. But Natalie Reese decided she’d make her dream a reality and go to prom anyway, even if she had to do it in her own home. She invited her parents and her sisters, and together the family hit the dance floor. She recorded the event on TikTok - where it got 30 million views! From there, Natalie created a campaign asking others to put on their own virtual prom. #InsideEdition

You know what I hate the most abbout high school? Is how high school nails in the thought that high school is gonna be the best years of your life when in reality, it's total disappointment.

So watching high schoolers nowadays cry and whine about how they don't get to go to prom or Graduation is probably the best thing to have happened because it's hilarious. They act like it's such a nightmare to have prom and graduation taken away from them. They have absolutely no idea how much better adulthood gets.

Yeah there's taxes and you need money to do the things you want to do, but it's so much better than sitting in a classroom constantly being rejected by your crush, or being bullied. Or being yelled at by a teacher who has probably regretted ever teaching high schoolers.

It's not the end of the world.

It really sucks. Not just prom but graduation is in jeopardy here. We still have senior projects to finish and the last of our classes to pass, final college decisions. All that is in jeopardy because of the virus
