Ive been playing since 1.0 and man i got so confused when Yae Miko mentioned the Balladeer in the archon quest. Took me a good while to realise she was mentioning Scaramouche

Note: the difference in lighting in the 2 sides isn't detail that mihoyo added. It's literally just the graphic settings because these were on different devices. I've seen other videos of players playing this same scene and one that hasn't played the event had the exact same lighting and detail as the one on the right in this video.

ngl i was a little worried about how they would handle meeting scaramouche for those who didn't do the event where you actually meet him, but i think they did it well!! i like how the dialogue is different depending on whether or not you did that event.

I feel the unreconciled stars and dragonspine quests should have been permanent.
I made an account one year ago in October and couldn't play until May this year so missed both sadly.

You can see the difference on Aether's face..the first one he looks a little bit confused and the second one he looks like he's really mad with scara

It's irony that, in hindsight, I realize Scaramouche says similar things about human lives to Ei's words. They both compare human lives to bubbles, except for the total destruction part. While he humiliates humans' struggles, Ei is empathetic towards those and wishes to protect humans.

I like this! The left has little no purple gas since we havent met him and the right one has a lot of purple gas since we met him and i believe that the purple gas represents our anger cause Scaramouche said "Embrace the anger" while us getting intoxicated from the gas

So the differences is the intro. That's a good detail tho. But I wish that wasn't an event, it should be a canon.

An event like Golden Apple Archipelago is ok hence it doesn't affect lore nor introduce new character(s) thus whenever player who did this event or not, it doesn't have a conflict to a story.

I genuinely had no idea the MC’s facial expression/stance changes for the people who didn’t meet him in Unreconciled Stars. I did think they’d introduce him at least but to have the MCs who know Scara already be visibly pissed off just from seeing him was a pretty nice detail
