Update: I see what everyone is saying with the list of drivers who weren't millionaires at birth.
But our threshold for “rich kid” is different, it seems.
None of these drivers were actually "poor" they all had fathers who at the very least owned their own small business or in the case of Anthony Hamilton started his own company.
It's still a certain privilege.
Growing up with working parents, myself a go-kart was a distant dream that I got too old before It could be achievable
Best I can do is give this chance to my kid one day.

there are so many skilled drivers that definitely deserve to be in f1 but the skill is only half of it. also how much money you come with

I wonder how fans enjoy this. Initially yes, zooming cars and all that is quite fun to watch. Then the technical side of things makes it all even better; rules, regulations, how teams build their own cars etc. Beyond that I have no idea how die-hard fans exist. It's literally the same people racing with the same winners every time. At the same time I enjoy rally racing and it's like a watered down version of all this so this might be a bit hypocritical, but still... Im not a crazed fan, I enjoy the cars and the races and the skill. F1 is basically the same show everytime.
