This is how to Strike Your FAIRWAY WOODS and LONG IRONS

This golf lesson will show you how to nail your fairway woods and long irons. Whether you want to stop topping your woods, learn to hit your wood and long irons off the ground or simply looking to hit your woods farther my hope is this golf lesson will really help.

It certainly did for a recent student of mine Nigel. He was struggling to get any height on his fairway woods and long irons. As a result he just didn't hit the golf ball very far. We only had an hour golf lesson but it was more than enough time to make some really simple changes to his backswing and impact position that literally transformed his ball striking.

I'm sharing this video with you because when we have a club that we don't like very much the faults and cures you are about to see are very common. I hope this golf lesson helps you as much as it did Nigel.

Way beyond "how to nail your fairway woods and long irons". This is how to practice all shots. EXPERIMENT with ball position, club path and posture. Also the best way to complete the backswing and get a full shoulder turn and engage the entire body especially the legs. This would be the best video to show a beginner on what a golf swing is about. In the last 6 weeks, taking pieces and parts of your video lesson and building a daily practice routine (not hitting balls, just slowly repeating the recommended movements), I have dramatically changed my game. For the prior 6 months I was hitting a weak fade off the tee and scrambling to keep my score under 90. Now my tee shot is straight and long, my fairway shots are on target, and my short game gives me the confidence I can score from anywhere. My last 6 rounds have ranged from high 70s to 82.
