IF I TALK ABOUT CONCEPTS & NOT TACTICS⁉️
I recently spoke at a conference with an audience of very diverse backgrounds. And when I was preparing my slides I wanted to explain
the digital pathology projects I worked on in a clear and simple way but was afraid that my audience might think it's below their level.
I was uncertain until I heard the speaker who spoke before me. She was a high-level executive who used to work as a machine learning specialist for Google and Amazon and she chose to talk about concepts too. I realized, that if you know the concepts you can figure out the details yourself. If you don't understand the concepts, you will keep reinventing the wheel. I also realized that there are so many science bridges to build 🌉
To prevent science from happening in silos .So be sure to share the concepts you are working on not just the data and results 📊
