Everyone talking about "fat don't fly" realize you are not athletically gifted like Shaq, Zion, Bron, Wilt, etc...

Thank you I’m 5”6’ and I always wanted to dunk. I’ve been working for 7 months and now I can finally dunk. I’m still working on dunking easily, but I’ve dunked on 10 before. One of my biggest accomplishment’s. People always doubted me but I now showed them. Thank you

That second tip is very important, I've had tons of reps whenever practicing explosive exercises and it started feeling like it just made my vertical a little lower. this answered it, thank you!

"We're all built different" I felt that.

1/ Lose weight
2/ Train more for explosiveness, less for endurance
3/ Focus on 'triple extension' - hips, knees, ankles. Improve any weak areas in any of those and develop strength and speed.

Pretty much common sense.

Comment if you want to see a series to help with this. Or don't comment, the series will be coming either way no doubt.

I started dunking at 12 years old at 5'9, I worked everyday and jumped ALOT it's all about you're work ethic and how bad you want it tbh.

I'm 5'10 and have been training my vert a lot recently. I touched rim for the first time about 2 months ago and now I can get my palm in the rim with ease. Insane what consistency does for an athlete.
