Okay! So testing the sensor at the beginning might not have been necessary, but I just wanted to make sure it was reading correctly rather then trust it and it be at fault. Then Id have spend ages looking for a fault that wasn’t actually there.

Once I confirmed electrically it was working as it should and I knew i had a mechanical fault I got straight in and carried out a physical check on the whole intake system. I noticed as the engine got hotter I could feel a misfire (no codes tho) and could here a bad noise coming from the turbo… a bad noise and knowing these engines like to blow their turbos that was my first place to check and I got lucky this time I guess 🤷🏻

Is your vehicle in need of repairs or just some love? Then…..

Having a computer is good for error codes if they display.but having a logical brain is far superior old school diagnosis

My ford Ka+ 2019 losing power particularly at max or near maximum throttle but sometimes you can fix it by pressing the accelerator releasing and then pressing it again it comes back to live again to me it's like the O2 sensors are not responding quick enough or fuel pressure
