Nice, succinct video!☺️I love Dr. Heiser’s books, and reading them has taught me so much about the culture and beliefs of the Second Temple Period, and all about God’s Devine Council...through Dr. Tom Horn’s Defender Publishing, I’ve been able to purchase his 2 fiction books, “The Facade, ”and “The Portent.” His 2 books that are about the same topic as this video, “The Unseen Realm, ” and “Reversing Hermon” are must-reads!

In Old testament they were called uncleaned spirit the familiar spirits, the tormenting spirits
New testament called unlean spirits, demons, legions, evil and wicked
Jesus revealed them

I would be interested to know how Dr. Heiser views modern day exorcisms, when demons identify themselves by names of sin.

So in the pre-flood world, before the nephilim perished, was it easier to abstain from sin? Because these spirits didn’t need to manifest since they already had bodies, yet man was still choosing to sin.

Who creates the immaterial spirit being? Does God actively create a new spirit? Or has He set up a law that generates a new spirit upon conception?

Why did legion, ask to be thrown into the pigs, and throw themselves into the sea? Drowning their vessels?did Christ kill them? Is water linked to demons? Because these spirits were killed in the flood? Why were the women who slept with angelic beings, become siren's upon their death, cursed to inhabit bodies of water, like mermaids? Are mermaids and all hybrids, nephilim? Or raphiem? Demons where called the hairy one's, like bigfoot? Hybrids are vessels for unclean spirits

The Apostles were moved by the holy Spirit to write what they wrote. God revealed mysteries of the OT in the NT. 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us all scripture is given by inspiration of God. Just like Melchizedek in Gen 14 has a very brief commentary about a man that even Abraham gave honor and really does not explain any further until we see it again thousands of years later in Hebrews 7:1-3. Angels have sinned prior to Gen 6. Lucifer was a cherub, who fell by the sin of pride. Also Rev 12:4 tells us that the dragons tail did cast down with him a third of the stars, which are fallen angels.

After hearing this I think perhaps "sons of God" possessed Humans and created Nephilim.
A: Gen 1-2 Everything reproduces after its KIND, humans and Angels are different Kinds
B: A possessed human would be a "man of renown " with their strength.
I think this idea could be worked further to be coherent

The writers of the New Testament are inspired by the Holy Spirit.
As for things like the Book of Enoch, I trust 100% from that which is in the Bible only. The rest with reservation.

I'm confused? How can you quote something (Book of Enoch) and say it's not relevant? Why would a Prophet/Apostle who speaks against false teaching reference the Book of Enoch in the Bible? It's either you believe the book of Enoch or you don't. No tic for tac.
