Clear concise and articulate voice. Easy to follow instructions. I've tried most all of these in windows and they just are not consistent in running. Noe of the sites where the roms are available are up to date. I've a powerful system Ryzen 7 5800x, 64 gigs of DDR4, 6 T.B. of drives and a 3080 TI video card...if that won't run them nothing will. They just were not made to run on P.C.'s

Yes I found the same. Clicking the firmware update for the pup file, there was no reaction and file wouldn't download from Sony. So I right clicked download button, saved link to my downloads folder and then put that in my rpcs3 folder ready to install through the interface of the emulator.
I also found out (why) that rpcs3 wouldn't let me install the firmware or update rpcs3 because it was blocked by my antivirus. Even making an exception in my AV for rpcs3 made no difference. So therefore I had to switch off my AV until firmware was installed and any update applied. Hope this helps someone out...
