I didnt know that I needed the best phone on the market to play MTG on the go.

I tried this for 2/3 hours today. It struggles a bit and it's still a rough version, but it worked pretty fine for what it had to do. It didn't take long to install, never crashed, it was easy and comfortable to play and all that. I have a Samsung S20 5G, it's a recent phone but it's not its generation's high end (if you know something about mobile tech and such, you could may know the processor it has it's actually a bit meh especially cause it's not very optimized for games and stuff like that), screen is decently big so I got to enjoy the games alright and it was fun trying the new set this way. Sure, it's not even close to how the experience is on PC, especially when it comes to smoothness and general information accessibility (field, menus, effects of permanents, number of cards in the graveyard and in the deck etc.), and those aspects obviously need to be improved with better optimization and a different interface in general, but I literally downloaded it on hour 1 of early access and it was a generally nice and enjoyable experience, especially considering it's MtG Arena but portable. One last thing, the version has its numerous minor flaws, but I would like to debunk this whole "game will explode on mobile" belief; last game I had was against the deck that mutates Starrix on top of Scute Swarm and ramps lands to multiply them, they played like 4 or 5 lands. I got totally owned, but my phone had absolutely 0 issues. Something like 20 Starrix copies entered the battlefield at the same time and neither the game or the phone had a problem. This was my first impression with this version so far anyway, hopefully they'll keep improving and polishing it and it will become available for many other devices soon.
