I have major depressive disorder. I’m at the precipice of entering my 50s. I’m working for making this my best decade! To do that, I’m looking for the tools to greater success. Within the first 15 minutes of listening, I have already come to a point of self awareness that touches my heart so deeply. I can’t help but be grateful! I can already tell: my future is going to be awesome! This is coming from someone who has always had trouble seeing a way out of a cesspool of negativity. Thanks for helping me grow my “wings”. Very soon I’ll have all I need to take flight! 🎉

LONG TERM STRESS is the BIGGEST KILLER - immunity is overwhelmed, and it is well known now that it contributes largely to chronic conditions - UNFORT esp young people, do not know HOW TO LIVE without multi-tasking, being tired or feeling fully extended. Our senses are overwhelmed. We desperately need to RESET our Lives and strive for Balance, Calm, and Inner Peace, as a priority! Live 'less' but at a much higher awareness and a higher quality... 'Conscious Living' ❤️👌🏼

Stay positive, look forward for all the world has to offer, challenge yourself to learn new things. No one gets out of life without something bad happening to them, thinking positive will move you forward.

"YES"
The biggest moment in this interview for me was when you both got excited and started talking over each other.

Seeing your exchange brought back memories of great conversations.

I SAW A VIDEO OF A MAN IN HIS 60's WHO GOT Alzheimer's DISEASE, AND HE WAS READY TO GO INTO AN INSTITUTION. THEN HE BEGAN TO TAKE 2 TABLESPOONS OF GOOD VIRGIN OLIVE OIL DAILY. ONE YEAR LATER THE PLACK IN HIS BRAIN WAS GONE, AND HE ACTUALLY WENT BACK TO WORK. WE ARE WHAT WE EAT, TRUELY.🎉 😮😊❤

Memories of toxic betrayals within social structures serve to disturb the mind enough for individuals to do something about it. In order to preserve oneself & reorganize our relationships, memories can remind us to distance ourselves from those who are best to avoid.

Interesting about the Orcas, the leader of elephants is the Matriarchal female. So wow grandmothers are important. We love our grandchildren and hopefully have an impact on their development. We also have the time and hopefully are more patient and forgiving of their actions. I have 10 grandchildren and just love them so much.

The change that happens to our emotional settings as we get older is possibly what in lay terms we call getting mellow.

I don’t remember any birthdays, Christmas or holidays. I hear my husband talk about his childhood with his family & I get kinda sad that I don’t have any. It’s fun hearing his memories though. I’ve tried to remember & it’s all blank - nothing comes up. This is a great episode.

I enjoyed this, but if depression can lead to dementia, what can helping others do for you? What if I just voluntarily did something for someone else once a day, not for praise or anything else- just do something nice…would that help my cognitive decline. Because I am losing it. I am depressed and forgetting a lot. I am not that old. I am not able to get a job for some reason. Maybe just being kinder despite my condition would help? What do I have to lose?
