I favour frame rate over resolution all day long. Since owning a ps5 I can't go back to 30fps. Feels dirty on my eyes. Kinda gives me headache

The beauty of the game mode on Sony tv’s, is that you can tweak the settings to get the best of both worlds. There are some things that are turned off by the game mode, but they have fairly easy workarounds.

Bad advice. ALLM should be on otherwise your input lag will be huge if you arent in game mode. VRR is also good to have if your TV supports it. Just change settings when you are in game mode if you want warmer and more correct colors.

Turning off VRR and ALLM are terrible recommendations if your tv supports. If it doesn’t it’s already off. There are games like ratchet with resolution and VRR which is definitely better than pure resolution at 30 fps.

If you choose Performance pre set, you will have much edge flicker alaising, if you choose Grafik Mode, you will have lowest fps. Set all settings just to Auto and let the Game do the best mix of all.. its the key to get the best Performance in every game and every Aspekt.

This makes no sense, VRR needs to be on always if your tv supports it because a lot of games offer you native 4k up to 40FPS, god of war ragnarok, plague tale and a lot more.

My OLED can do that without switching to game mode and without sacrificing image quality. I can use VRR and ALLM in any pic setting.

I definitely wouldn’t turn on HDR as it often makes colors look much more poor since most monitors don’t do HDR correctly. I would stay away from that unless you’re using OLED

I disable my VRR. It was whitewashing everything. Didn’t realize it until I started having a flickering issue. Someone said to turn that setting off.
Wowsers. Surprised a feature with good intentions winds up downgrading.
