At one of the warehouses I used to work at, our resident designated first aid officer, we discovered, did not do well with blood. Went from hale, hearty and upright to pale, ashy and counting the floor tiles, when one of the order pickers cut his hand on his box knife!
He, the first aider, said he didn't realise that he'd react that way to seeing so much blood and that there was no blood in the first aid training!
