WHAT A GEM OF A FIND! That Gerry can live on with these incredible films, helps a weary Soul. Summertime versions, by Sam Cooke, and Gerry are my all time favorite, versions. If Gerry also had a manager in the States, his incredible voice would have had even more, hits. Thank you Gerry and the Pacemakers, and THANK YOU, for this utube. 👍🏼✨🕊✨

I love his interpretation he was such a great singer and as a black person I really appreciate the fact that he chose to say your Mommy instead of your Mammy in the song that tells me a lot about him I'm sure some of you reading this think I'm being overly sensitive but you have not walked in my shoes and be grateful that you have not had to

Thank you for posting this video. First time I see it being a Gerry and The Pacemakers fan. So sad that Gerry Marsden passed away on January 3 2021, a year go. I was lucky to see him perform in Singapore about twenty years ago.
