My family plays it differently. When you clear your side, all stones on the other players side get SUBTRACTED from their final score.

It makes no sense to reward the other player stones just because you cleared your side first.

I guess there’s many different versions. That’s just how I’ve always played it. Lot of fun.

And an FYI too, this is a beginner Mancala. There's alot of variants in Africa that are more strategic
