I am 56 years old - will be 57 in November. My co-workers think I'm a 35 year old kid. I even had to prove my age to one co-worker by showing my drivers license. A couple of things I've done consistently since I was 12 years old. I have taken a multi-vitamin/mineral. I eat a soup every day. I use olive oil or coconut oil. And ever since my early 20's - I have taken Co-Q10 every day. I also don't over-do exercise. Just enough to build up a sweat. Over-doing exercise leads to injuries. I mostly do yoga now. I used to do natural bodybuilding, but I don't lift anymore. Too hard on the joints. I have never smoked. I quit drinking beer & wine at 40. I also drink a cup of tea everyday, otherwise my beverage of choice is Berkey Filtered Water.

I am a Vegan. I have been drinking or taking Supplements. I am a Yoga/Fitness Instructor. I gave up heavy lifting 20 years ag and got into Yoga. I knew most of all this..mainly Superfoods Goji Acai Goldenberry Noni Maca..Drink Kombucha. I eat two decent meals Lunch and Dinner like he said because I drink Smoothies and eat Salads. I go 10 miles on the sand early in the morning...and Yoga; Iyengar handing on ropes. Im a Singer which has benefits. People ask why I look half my age..My body heals itself....Everything we eat is downloaded into our DNA. Thank you God for choosing me and Redeeming me through your son..My Savior Jesus Christ.

16 hour Intermittent fasting works for me, eating daily between 3-4pm. You do get used to this fasting, and feel great! especially after seeing results in my skin, body, soul, and my whole out look on life in general.

Dr Axe, can you recommend a way to get rid of stubborn belly fat that women get after 50? I dance ballet, exercise, fast more than 12 hours before eating breakfast, don't drink alcohol, have collagen powder daily, take multi vitamins, eat healthily, not much sugar (except I do put a tablespoon on raw, unrefined honey in my collagen shake), eat vegetables, Wild caught salmon, reishi, corticeps, green tea.... I look great, but can't get rid of that damn belly!!! So frustrating! Can you think of anything I could be overlooking?!
