UNPLUG YOUR BATTERY FIRST! My phone was fine, But safety first. Unplug the battery first thing before unplugging anything else. The battery should be the last thing reconnected as well.

Let me know if you need any specific parts, or if those links stop working!!!

This video will show you the process for replacing an iPhone 6s screen. There are a few differences between the iPhone 6 and 6s screens. The screens are not interchangeable. None of the parts are. There is also a bit of adhesive around the screen of this phone that holds it onto the body. Let me know if you have any questions!

PLEASE unplug the battery FIRST! My phone did not have any issues, but other people have.
Unplugging the battery first is the safest way to open up your device.

Got to give you thanks for a great video. This was my first screen replacement I've ever done. I bought the whole screen assembly with the camera, home button and earpiece ($30), but I did swap my home button over to the new screen for the thumbprint features. Everything went exactly as mentioned in this video without issue. My phone works and looks like a new phone. Even after 6 years, your video continues to help. Big Thanks!!!

Just wanted to say I fixed a terribly cracked screen for a friend today and I had no problems at all following this video and getting everything working. I had no problems and this is the first time I’ve ever done something like this. Thank you for the helpful video!

Can't thank you enough! Although the assembly that I purchased already had the speaker and camera assemblies included, the rest was unbelievably informative. I was done in around 45 minutes total. Can't thank you enough. I'll definitely be sharing your channel with any friends or family that need to do this sort of DIY work. You saved me $130 compared to taking it into MacHQ for service! That and I learned something new! Thank you!

Always disconnect the battery first once you have the screen and frame separated! You can cause issues if you allow current to pass through the phone when removing the screen ribbons, especially if you make the silly mistake of using a metal tool to pry up the ribbon connectors.

I like how apple made the screen and battery more user accessible on the newer iPhones. Replacing a screen on the old 4/4S gen was a nightmare for example.

If anyone attempts this make sure you disconnect the battery too... shorted the backlight doing this

Warning, disconnect your battery before disconnecting the screen or else you will blow the backlight filter, happened to me

Thanks so much, saved me a ton of money getting it officially repaired! Less than £20 for a screen, half an hour of nervous fixing and all done!

Thanks Jerry, by watching your video to repair my phone for the first time I’ve blown the backlight filter because you FAILED to tell us to remove the battery before touching the screen!! Please please save this happening to more people by adding something to your title or annotate the video...

I thought by watching this video I could replace the screen myself.
Sod that, I shall take it to the local Mobile shop. Good luck to those who are brave enough to undertake this task.

Thanks to you Jerry, I've managed to extend my Iphone 6S lifecycle! I've already followed your tutorials to replace the battery, the charging port and now the screen. Your videos are super well made, simple and clear to understand. A giant thumbs up for The Screen screw chart included, had a good laugh at the (Don't sneeze) mention :-) Thanks again for these great vdos.

Probably the best video I've ever watched on YouTube for DIY. No extra dialogue about your mom's phone or what your cat's shit looked like this morning lmao. Great job and thank you for walking this jerry rig everything from curbing on trash days to soldering burnt fuses back together, through another scheme to save money and earn prestige amongst the simple folk lol
