Obi-Wan's weird ageing actually has a reasonable explanation.

If one accepts the show Agents of SHIELD as MCU canon (as it should be), then the influence of Hydra over the World Security Council was indeed canonically confirmed.

For Back to the Future, how about the pocket change Marty pays for coffee with in the diner? Hope the guy doesn't look at the year on those coins too closely.

I liked to think Buzz froze because he was mimicking the others around him. He was on a strange planet and knew nothing about the dangers. It thus follows he would act like the other organisms he saw since they clearly knew how to survive there. Fits entirely into his character.

The Starlighters could keep up with "Johnny B. Goode" despite never hearing it before because it's a very standard blues progression. These are high level professional musicians. They probably had a background in jazz and were used to following much more complex changes than that on the fly. It's not like "Johnny B. Goode" was the first uptempo 12-bar blues ever. They were all over the radio by this time. For example, "Tutti Frutti" came out in 1955 and is a couple BPM faster than Johnny B Goode and essentially follows the same chord pattern.

I suspect it's because Kenobi was on a harsh desert world where life is cruel and he himself has been subjected to a LOT of physical and emotional trauma. That sort of combination ages you like crazy.

In Back To The Future, Marty didn't play "Johnny B. Goode" TO GET his parents together...He played that AFTER.
And as far as the musicians being able to keep up...I would assume that they had been playing for a while & were versed in Music Theory. Therefore, they could follow a musical progression by being given verbal commands & hand queues. Plus...MARTY TOLD THEM THE PROGRESSION BEFORE THEY STARTED!!!

The Obi-Wan issue of aging is even more simple than being a "curse". The sun ages people, and extended, unprotected exposure to it ages a person more than any other force (heh) known to science, especially on a planet like Tatooine with TWIN suns, almost zero humidity, and temps reaching as high as 55C in the shade. Thus, being out in such conditions every day, for many hours a day, would easily make a person look far older than they should.

The Hogwarts class size answer is obvious. The wizarding world was at war and there were mass casualties, including whole families.

I think it's more simple Max is a dog.. dogs get loose. Dogs eat trash.. Grinch leaves in trash.

Buzz was a trained soldier. He adapted to the behavior of an unknown environment. That simple. The other theory presented adds many other factors to take into consideration.

i real love the back to the future theory...makes them like a watcher type group for time travelers that help out keep certain people safe and/or possibly keep timelines safe

My absolute favorite fan theory (that I will always accept as the official cannon for the series), is the Matrix fan theory of the matrix actually being inside of another matrix.

It really put me off of the franchise when Neo was able to use his matrix powers "outside" of the matrix in the "real world". That turned the sci-fi show into a fantasy one for me.

But the fan theory explains that in order to successfully control humans, it nested a matrix inside of another matrix. Those who discover the matrix and "escape" only leave the nested matrix. Because they think they have escaped, they are contempt. But every so often the computer wipes them all out, to prevent them from eventually learning their still in a matrix. It also explains why Neo was able to use his powers as he never left the matrix (only went to a different one).

8:43 the film theorists explained that extended exposure to the sun causes people to prematurely age, or appear older than their true age would suggest. But combine that with 2 suns, and that effect is happening at double speed.

The Back to the Future one doesn't make sense. If the band was from the future and wanted to preserve the timeline they would have been preserving the original timeline where Marty never stopped his father being hit by the car.

If they were from the alternate universe Marty created, then they had no reason to be there as they didn't need to interfere, unless the Marty we watched wasn't the first version and he actually failed previously. But if that was the case the Mall would have already been called Lone Pine. So no, if you give any real thought to it, that fan theory although interesting, just doesn't work.

Back To The Future: Now that explanation to plug up a plot hole has take the water from a bucket with a couple of holes and poured it into a sieve.

If the band were time travelers themselves, where did they get the time machine from?
So, Doc Brown was not the first person to invent time travel, and the band went to a lot of trouble to save a kid, who face it, was not really that important in the whole-space time continuum.
Where did they get a time machine from?
Why were they so careless taking electrical equipment back to a time that it didn't previously exist?
If they knew who Marty was and what was at stake, why did they look so puzzled at his playing style?
Just scratching the surface here.

Easier explanation. Prop guy stuffed up!

OK, but if the freezing of the toys is an unvoluntary reflex, how then can they brake it to interact with Sid? It's not like you have control over unvoluntary reflexes.

The Obi Won Kenobi issue could be easy. Humans could age differently on different planets. When he got to Tattoine he aged faster. Plus Tattoine has little water so he is close to dehydration often.

The bigger plot holes with that Back to the Future scene is, 1) How did Chuck Berry end up knowing how the whole song went, given that he only heard just a bit of it, half way through, on a 1950's telephone that was quite far away? Anyone who's tried hearing loud music through a phone, even in the modern era, will know that the sound would have been quite muffled and distorted!
And didn't Marvin Berry (who was THERE) take the song for himself, given that he was also a musician, but clearly wasn't a terribly successful one, given that he's playing lowly school discos for a living. Why did he phone his cousin to let him take all the fame and glory instead of himself?
