Why does everyone get so hung up on Padme and the Hanger thing?? Dooku was FLYING and they all knew they were chasing him to his base. And if he was gonna land his hover ship thing, he'd need to land in the hanger of his base. So it's not so out there to think that Padme would assume they were in the hanger.

Anyone remember that Futurama episode where that guy comes back in time to become president so Nick doesn't and to save the world, well he does become president and saves the future so he wouldn't have needed to go back in time in the first place, thus creating a time paradox where he vanished and Nick becomes president again until time repeats itself. Hope that was clear

Going from prison to Gotham isnt difficult. Who wants to see people travel? And understand that what Bane says is just a threat. Of course he cant keep an entire city under supervision if one person leaves or enters. But he wants to bring fear into the minds of the people, and in this way make sure that people dont leave. And it works. As in the scene where Robyn tries to get people away from the city shows (you know the scene where the police starts blowing the bridge away because they are affraid)

I definitely think Mulan should be on here. Its a plot hole a lotta people have noticed. Mulan joins the army to keep her crippled dad from dying in the war. But later we find out that its possible to be kicked out of training. Mulan can at least run, which her dad can't, so he definitely would have been sent home. Yes, he would come back dishonored, but he'd be alive, and that's what everyone worried about.

Wizards hadn't be able to fix eye sight, the same way Muggles haven't cured Cancer, Aids & Ebola, yet.

Sure Muggles have invented laser eye surgery but don't forget Harry Potter's story (not including Harry's past and the epilogue or/and any other parts of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. Just Harry at age 11 - age 17 after The Battle Of Hogwarts.) took place between the 80's and 90's.

Also Harry Potter isn't the only character in the Wizarding World who wore eye-wear in the books and films:
Albus Dumbledore (half-moon),
Minerva McGonagall (square),
James Potter (round),
Moaning Myrtle (thick lenses),
Rita Skeeter (rhinestone),
Sybill Trelawney (thick lenses),
Arthur Weasley (horn-rimmed),
Percy Weasley (horn-rimmed),
Rufus Scrimgeour (wire-rimmed),
Mafalda Hopkirk,
Aberforth Dumbledore,
Borgin (pince-nez),
Ernie Prang (thick lenses)
etc.

Furthermore, even though Muggles have invented laser eye surgery you still see plenty of people walking around with eye-wear.

Also there is cost and choice.

Plus the Wizarding World doesn't really have technology like in the Muggle world. And Magic can't just fix everything.

I rest my case.

"people assume that time is a linear progression but its actually a big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey ... stuff" that quote kind of got away from me a bit

For the terminator one, it could be that the "first" chip came about under different conditions, and that later rebirths of the chip are a result of skynet looking to speed up and advance it's own existence.

Daniel Radcliffe even said himself that he wore them for costume and the character harry doesn't actually need them, they may be a interview for it on YouTube

I have a movie plot hole. I was watching ice age the meltdown with my family and in the beginning of the movie Sid is getting beat up by the kids and they say "he wasn't filled with candy" they're in prehistoric times. I'm no historian but I'm pretty sure they didn't have candy back then

As a wearer of glasses who grew up in the nineties, I always assumed that Harry just got so used to his glasses that he didn't want to switch to something else. Other wizards and witches wear glasses, too, and whether or not they do a surgery-like spell or stick with glasses is probably preference as well as safety.
Plus, I don't think that laser eye surgery was a big thing back in the nineties, and it's still pretty expensive now, so not something the Dursleys would have elected to get for Harry anyway.
In addition, JK Rowling stated at one point that, having grown up with glasses, she really wanted to read a story about a hero with glasses, so she wrote one.

Actually, in Superman Returns, he is lifting an island made of Kryptonite. Since Kryptonite is his biggest weakness and can kill him, it's understandable that he would struggle so much while he is lifting it. But you are right about how in the beginning, he is struggling with the plane when there is nothing to hinder his super-strength. I have never noticed that until now.

Harry has to wear glasses as a constant reminder of what happened to him at the young age.

I think they did it to make him more relatable. Plus when the books were published no laser eye surgery

Why did I know Harry Potter's glasses would be in here. Obviously all wizards act like they are stuck back in time and are too stupid to make any new spells. This is why they hide from muggles, because they're embarrassed that they're so dumb.
